This Must Be The Place

This Must Be The Place is a portrait series of migrants currently living in Edinburgh. I became interested in what motivated people to come to this city and to start a new chapter of their lives here, as I did the same thing four years ago. All of the sitters are people whom I have met during my years of study in Scotland. Alongside the photographs I recorded interviews with the sitters talking about notions of home, migration and identity.
